Our Aims & Objectives
ECM aims to promote unity, preserve Esan cultural heritage, support community development, pursue the advancement of human right, equality and diversity and support disadvantaged individuals in Esanland through targeted charitable and socio-economic programmes.
ECM pursues its aims by:
- Supporting socio-economic development programmes in Esanland and the United Kingdom.
- Uniting Esan people in Manchester within a peaceful and collaborative community.
- Contributing to the advancement of Esan communities in Nigeria and the diaspora.
- Encouraging alternative conflict resolution and the fostering of mutually beneficial peaceful co-existence.
- Promoting the welfare and interests of ECM members
- Facilitating social harmony through social interaction, networking and cultural exchange programmes
- Establishing partnerships and collaboration with organisations that share similar values.
- Showcasing Esan culture through educational and cultural programmes.
- Disseminating beneficial information and resources that support professional development and the upliftment of the community.
