Dr. Alfred Ajayi Ejiya is a Senior Customer and Business Analyst with extensive experience in business and information technology management. He holds a PhD from the Universities of Salford and Loughborough.

A multifaceted professional with a passion for exploration and lifelong learning, Dr. Alfred Ajayi Ejiya is an avid traveler who has visited 45 countries, a music enthusiast, and a passionate football fan.

As President of the Esan Community of Manchester, he considers it a profound honor to serve and lead. His vision is to build on the strong foundation laid by his predecessors by fostering an inclusive and united community, promoting Esan culture and values, and ensuring the welfare and financial sustainability of ECM.

Dr. Alfred Ajayi Ejiya is particularly committed to empowering the next generation by involving children in community life, helping them learn and appreciate their rich heritage, and strengthening their identity as proud people of Esan origin. He leads with empathy, integrity, and a deep sense of responsibility — dedicated to being a true brother’s and sister’s keeper to all members of the community.

 

Mr Peter Omoike

Mr Chase Abhulimen is a Data Analyst and works for the English Civil Service. He holds a Computer Science Degree and is a graduate of AWS Re/Start Programme in Cloud Engineering. He is also a professional filmmaker and a video compositor who has made and premiered two movies to his credit in The Netherlands.

He is passionate about promoting professional equality among youths and the less privileged in the community. He is a member of Diaspora Film Makers Association and Sierra Leone Film Makers Association (both in The Netherlands)

Mr Clement Ebhote is an enterpreneura and currently the CEO of RHECLEM NIG LTD, a servicing company in the agricultural sector.

After his tertiary Education in Nigeria in the 90s, Mr Ebhote moved to Euroupe for even more greener pastures. He currently works in the health and social care sector in the UK.

Mr. Ebhote is passionate about building strong brotherly relationships among the Esan sons and daughters in the diaspora. He is keen to see the Esan people in the diaspora working together for the development of Esanland. He is a strong advocate of passing the Esan culture, values and the Esan language to the younger generation.

Mr Ebhote hails from Oghagbo, Opoji.

Mr Derek Urhohide is currently an employee in one of UK’s biggest telecommunications companies. He holds a Masters degree in Information Technology, and Bachelo’s degree in Business Computing.

He is passionate about working for communities and is also the vice chair of the Edo State Community, UK. While in university, Derek was the only global majority person to sit in the Senate Council of the university, and also created the African-Carrebean Association is the university.

Derek loves to serve the Esan Community and is currently the Financial Secretary.

Mr Robert Aguele  passionate about his culture and tradition. He is also a member of Esanaigbe cultural association, London.  He is an alumni of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma Edo State, and the prestigious Kingston University London.

Robert is people oriented and always have a positive attitude towards community development.

As one of the founding members, Mr Ebose Egho is passionate about the growth of the community and the wellbeing of its members. 

He is currently the Provost of Esan Community of Manchester.
