The ECM is an association of a people of the ESAN heritage who have come together to foster unity, peace and love among the ESAN people both in homeland and diaspora and are committed to engendering social harmony in our communities in the homeland and the UK through the championing of social causes that improve the quality of life, community engagement and social investments. We take much pride in family system, unity and beneficial co-existence. These same principles we intend to pass to our kids even though we live outside of the shores of our motherland. We are keen on helping our kids to understand their roots, customs, traditions, culture and values for which their parents have earned respect using such attributes to engender communal peace, community development and social harmony. We are therefore enthusiastic to replicate in the UK these attributes for which the ESAN people are well known through community engagements, working with other stakeholders in Manchester and its environs to reduce social vices, enthrone cultural and social harmony, support learning and human development for human flourishing.
